Odd...i canceled my download of the ISO extras... and decided to try a different mirror, on this currect mirror im d/ling at 12 kpbs...

I must have burned out that one mirror...

You think it'll die? Im downloading my mane 700 mb from it and im not using GOzilla or w/e.. so i cant pause / resume, so if it goes down, i lose 500 mb D/led

EDIT: I cant log off, andlog onto the admin account ( I bet i could figure out the pass... or brute it =D.. or ask my dad haha ) but I wont be able to until my 70% of the 700 mb download isdone.....   anyways, thanks for that FTP.. its amazingly fast... iwish i could go d/l off of it now..... but ill just wait 1 hour 58 min and 32 seconds for this one to finish.. then ill go on admin and d/l from that FTP.... it is ... really fast. Well, if the machine is WinNT or Win2K it's easy to get Administrator access if you are already logged on as a normal user.

hey, just to be clever.. idownloaded dap, and did ADD URL and put in the file address.. it connects to download it, but then asks for a Username And Password... ugh... help me ouT?

After you get Mandrake downloaded go ahead and start downloading RedHat 8.0. If you are new to Linux I think you will like it.

does mandrake require any of this insane shit they call.. " code " to set up? I've seenmandrake screenshots , and it looks like windows to set up... will I need to know ANYTHING though? I mean like addrootxxdtjebhj [AGT#)(&T^ V or something?
