WineX FAQ
« on: 11 December 2002, 21:15 »
I have seen a lot of people asking about WineX so I am gonna make a wee tutorial/FAQ thingy maboby this weekend.
Three questions;

1) Think it is is worth my time?
2) Anything that anyone wants adding in particular?
3) Will void main and quirk add it into their respective FAQ/tip pages (it will make it decent)

Here is my question. It appears that you have to subscribe to get WineX in binary form, you don't have to subscribe to get the sourcecode. Is the sourcecode easy to compile, or is it crippled? Is a self compiled WineX superior to Wine?

The short answer is no, but I will answer it properly in the FAQ.

Ha ha my friend you have yet to discover Chomsky.

Noam Chomsky is this amazing author commenting on political issues. His main topics are America and Israel and I love to hear his work because he is an American Jew with vision!
He tells you how it is, as with all literary work he obviously has some slant/bias/aim but fortunately he thinks like me.
He is the main professor of linguistics at MIT whcih gives him added bonus point beccause MIT has uber-coolness

I cannot describe to you how good Chomsky's books are though I suggest you get to a book shop and read/buy his stuff. His work may not be distributing in OZ yet, but it is so popular in Europe and the US that you should be able to source some copies. Like I said ask at the book shop, they have probably had requests already.

I am sure that both Quirk and I will be more than happy to add it to our FAQ/tips. I was asked to do this and I do have it on my list but I have several other things that are higher on my personal priority list that I would like to document. So if you or anyone else wants to do a nice detailed && accurate FAQ page feel free. To go on my site I would like to try and follow the similar format that I have been using. Don't worry about the HTML part, I'll just wrap my HTML around it so it looks like the rest, I am more concered with things like pros/cons, references etc (sort of a teenieweenie howto).. But I'll certainly take whatever you give me.
Someone please remove this account. Thanks...

All of this reminds me: copy all of Void's FAQs onto the MES FAQ! I'll make a special section called "Void's RH Tips" or "Void Main's Lonely Corner!"   :D
