Chopping .wav
« on: 20 February 2003, 00:54 »
I have a .wav file that I need to cut short. I want to cut off the last 00:02:40 of it, what would be the best tool to do that?
Contains scenes of mild peril.

sox did a job like that for me. I dunno if you have it, but it was installed automatically.

It's command-line. 'man sox' should work - the options are quite extensive. Look for 'trim' - that cuts a piece of the file off.

We take a measurement, the wavefunction will collapse, and one of the bottles of beer will fall
