just wondering, as i have seen version's of NeXTSTEP for intel machines, what kind of power would the x86 box need to run it
x86: a hack on a hack of a hackway
alpha, hewlett packed it A-way
ppc: the fruity way
mips: the graphical way
sparc: the sunny way
4:20.....forget the DMCA for a while!!!

It was first released when the 486 was still widely used. I don't know if that'll help, but I believe Black Hole Inc will help on anything you want to know about OpenStep.

They also sell NeXT "Black" hardware including the Turbo Cube and Turbo Slab workstations.
