i download it mac os 8, and was compressed with the sit, so i use the stuffit program to extract the file, but how do you burn this file on to the cd and get running on mac os ? or is it possible to make bootable or can you tell me what is the tool i need to make fresh install ?

If you are using toast, you need to click the checkbox that says make bootable. Otherwise you have to do it manualy. 8 and up have an invisible "boot partition". I don't remember at all how you make one though, try looking thrugh Google.

yes he does. stealing means that you are actually taking something away from somebody (so they no longer have it). this hardly applies here.

doesn't apple offer their older os's (system 8 and lower)for download?
