<shameless plug>

Visit The Don and Mike Forum and help me get the damn thing off the ground.

For those who don't know, it's a nationally syndicated talk show in the US.  I'm trying to get through to the show when they take unscreened calls so I can drop the URL on the air, but so far, no luck.  So, like . . . help get the word out already, would you?

I've heard the Don & Mike show but I prefer Lionel who plays after Tom Lykis.  The reason is D & M is on in the morning and I'm working then and Lionel is on at 7 at night.
You know me.... really...

Never heard Bob & Tom, though I've heard them been made fun of by Howard Stern and others.  Of course, Howard just indiscriminately trashes other DJs and falsely accuses them of ripping him off, often when they didn't, so I take what he says with a grain of salt anyway.

Ahhh Don and Mike...two prodigies of my hometown of Washington DC.  The reason for the Stern hatred of them goes back to the good old 80s when Stern was on DC 101 and Don and Mike did the morning show on the now defunct WAVA. I remember when I was a kid, and they would constantly make prank phone calls to one another.  Good morning radio, unlike the shite we have on today.

I remember Don getting caught with a shitload of coke...around the same time when Marrion Barry was caught smoking crack.  His case was kind of overshadowed, but they still cracked jokes about it.  I think Don said, if I do recall, "At least I don't smoke it..."
