most people see windows and apples and know nothing else. Everyone I've talked to that's used windows has always had nothing but complaints... that's before i mention -not- using windows.

OE isn't the security risk, IE is - and I'd bet money he has IE6 installed. In fact he said he uses Eurdora, which uses the IE HTML engine to render html attachments, so therefore he is still at risk.

i signed up to windowsbbs and tried to have an "real" discussion about linux. Well, i was banned for saying linux. at least, that is what i assume, since my post wasn't derogatory, or "flaming" in any manner. It was a simple question. Anyways. after that, i said fuck that site and havent been back since.

my god the guy that last replied was a moron... (i won't say that there though, that gets you banned) you look at that thread? other than the fact that i was asleep when i was posting (still need to go to bed), it seems to be going well. they are rather dumb though.

some have, most haven't. and those who have, used an old version and given up. similar to how i've only used a mac classic and haven't used a mac since.

Yes. I don't see any reason to give WindowsBBS an eMail address, I don't particually like Rose City Software.

If you want to make credible argument with those people, you can't make broad assumptions like that.
