We let people post screenshots of Windows, but we don't let people post helpful freeware?  That's fucking bullshit.

no it isn't, but your meaningless comment is.

by the way, your use of the word "freeware" is at least as misleading as anything that the pro-open source members have commented so far.

The word freeware has been used for more than 20 years to describe proprietary software which is distributed at no charge.  So I feel comfortable using it to describe the piece of software in question.

Yes. UT kicks ass, it's fast and customizable, and I dig the engine (superior to Quake III Arena at the time).
I've installed other games too, but they're in the PlayOnLinux menu.
You play Jazz Jackrabbit? Pretty good game :P. Was kinda under-rated though.

I'll post a pic soon. Right now my Macbook Pro is in for repair because my cousin sat on it, crushing the screen. I should've told you this, but well, I've been seeing other forums.

Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was made in the Netherlands, so it has a very strong fanbase here.

There are still lots of servers multiplayer (but don't go to those TSF Hotel servers, they suck).

Yeah. I went on about a year ago and I was amazed by how many people still play it. Someone needs to make a new PC based JJ2, none of this Half Life 2 stuff :D. Woot for happy games.

i wasn't commenting on the definition of "freeware", just your use of it in context, including the context of the comment you were responding to.

Kintaro, your desktop pic needs a caption:

"Did I just fuck my country up the ass?  I can't remember..."

Or "I am not a crook."

Nixon legalized counterfeiting in full, as long as the fed does it.
