http://mail.ms-eradication.org

I added mail forwarding just now. It's only <insert current price here> to have your own @microsuck.com (or one of the other domains) address which will automatically forward mail to your existing mailbox.

Next, and final, thing for me is to make a page where pop users can change their passwords. I'll do that tomorrow its like 1am.

heh, thats what you told me the first day. Did you change both step2.php and pp.php? those are the important ones. but www/data/index.php still says $1.

was thinking, what good is 1gb for a pop account. With pop, the mail is downloaded off of the server and onto the computer, then erased off the server. You should considering offering an imap server along with the pop3 server.

Or maybe you consider SquirrelMail. Some really awesome dude told me that was a reliable option...

squirrel mail is used in conjunction with imap. it connects to the imap server and gives you a web interface. I think both of these should be available. It wouldn't be hard to set up. You could even have squirrelmail on the microsuck.com server to save bandwidth.

Sick, dude

Anyway, this squirrelmail thing might be great for more people to sign up to Microsuck e-mail.

Shhhh . . . you're being way too smart, dammit!    :D    The 1 GB is a great marketing gimmick!  Stop THINKING about it so damn much!

But alas, you're right.  Actually, IMAP and SquirrelMail are both already installed on the new mail server, but they're being flaky and not quite working, which is why I didn't say anything about it.  I'm not quite sure why, either.  Maybe I could find someone who knows IMAP servers (I don't know offhand which one got installed) and qmail and stuff to take a look at it . . . ?

Actually, IMAP may work already; it could be just SquirrelMail that's acting up.

The server also does SMTP, but I'm still having to debug that, and I'm not sure I want to really broadcast the fact that it's available for SMTP anyway.

Refalm, I assumed you knew that squirrel meat is considered a delicacy in my neck of the woods.    :(

As for the SquirrelMail / IMAP issue, I can think of an associate who might know his way around the services if you were to contact a certain someone...   ;)     ;)

Well, maybe the consumption of dead animals isn't such a good idea in the first place...

So again: sick.
