I did the culture fair test two year ago, and I got 146, and that was without taking my Ritalin.
Maybe if I take some medication I'll do better than last time.

Not that I want to brag or anything. I also have a slew of neurological disabilities like ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, and overall sluggishness.

As a social worker I can guarantee these types of tests are crap.

True, they only measure mathematical processing, but don't take into account many other aspects of the brain like philosophical intelligence. Essentially, they show how many long series of calculations and extrapolations you can make, which are totally useless in real life. I think that for practical purposes, IQ differences are not very significant past a certain level.

Furthermore, they mean very little for people with disabilities such as myself. Nevertheless, it's still fun, for people with way too much time on their hands.

They mean nothing.
A real IQ test ends at 140.
If you reach this number, you have to take an other test.
It also doesn't use any standards.

Not that I care. Whatever my IQ really is (and I doubt there is such a thing), I still fail my exams because I am too slow and disorganised.   :(

And I believe solaris' score will be something below 100 (average)

Hey, what's wrong with people who have an IQ below 100?
I had an IQ test when I was seven. I didn't really pay any attention to it  :D

Today, we use completely different tests.
Try a new one(this shoudn't only include IQ).   ;)

I went through a real test this summer (not just IQ). It was very expensive ($1500 CAD), but worth it.

Over here that's free, like it should.

It was a test at a private institution. I could have gotten one for free (we do after all have universal medical care), but I would have needed to wait longer. My parents thought that the $1500 was worth the short time. I think their insurance covers part of it.

I wouldn't have minded to wait, but since I'm a student, I needed to get the results so I could know how to organise and cope with my special needs.

I think that's sad.

Those results really mean nothing.
Since I helped building these tests, I know how they work.
They simply fail.
Most people who take these tests hope to score 140+.
They're all wrong.
These tests are only intended to show your best qualities.
