Hey man. HTML is a good start. All im bitching about is the Typing Like This. Its annoying. sorry.

And your first post here was nothing more than a cheap self promotion of you site. Horrible way, at least to me, to start your career here. And the Fuck You All? Fuck that. Deal with it. You dont like criticism? then kill yourself now. The rest of your life will be dealing with it in some form, and there will always be some asshole, like me, who just talks shit.

That's not the problem. Your website has an annoying lay-out and colours, and that has nothing to do at how good you are at HTML.

Just keep "less is more" in mind, and relearn HTML here to start. I can also recommend Vim for creating websites.

Ryan, some points as a web designer for quite some time:

1) Your page almost gave me an epileptic seizure. Don't be offended but the choice of colors is a bit over-th-edge.

2) Try to separate your content from the layout by using CSS.

3) Make your navigation scheme more understandable.

4) Make your content readable and accessible to text-based browsers and other machines that do not use graphics and images. Make it degrade gracefully above all!

5) Make it accessible for people with disabilities. Such colors will not be easy in the eyes of a person with poor eyesight let's say.

Lastly, keep in mind that CONTENT is everything in a web site! Don't worry about the styling so much. Those who tell you otherwise are plain old idiots. Give your visitors something to read, so that they will visit your site again  

This were some friendly tips. I don't mean to put you off or discourage you, but there are some things that you should change.

Definitely NOT!! Ryan was disappointed by some of the comments and discouraged as well, as they were a bit harsh!

However, if he needs guidance I would be more than happy to teach him some basic stuff or point him to the right direction.

My comments were harsh because his very fisrt post here was to promote his website. He came to the Microsoft Eradication Society to promote a website that has nothing to do with being anti ms. Then when I dont like it, say something about it, he throws a fit.

Going through a few tutorials for basic HTML wouldnt hurt. And looking at a few hundred different sites for ideas about general layout, navigational 'theory', and content management would be highly beneficial.

I think it should have been binned because it would have been better posted in the thread where it originated. Now that there are a few comments here though, i say leave it.

Anyways. No hard feelings Ryan? I apologize for being an asshole.

! I wasn't refering to you ecsyle :-D In any case, there are online guides out there that can help with simple HTML. Hell, there are even ready layouts for one to use
