come on, it's obviously a joke. If he's so responsible, to the point where he censors all the music. habits and activities of his children and thinks these are the actions of a moral parent then why does that page have these images on it?:

and

(links not active in case zombie435674567435 or gooseberry clock feel like clicking...

2. Are you finding programs on your computer that you don't remember installing?
Your son will probably try to install some hacker software. He may attempt to conceal the presence of the software in some way, but you can usually find any new programs by reading through the programs listed under "Install/Remove Programs" in your control panel. Popular hacker software includes "Comet Cursor", "Bonzi Buddy" and "Flash".
This was the clincher for me. There is no way this is not a joke. Personally i would think that the only people who would have Bonzi Buddy would be the very AOL morons that this fictional father wants all kids to be.

Your son may try to install "lunix" on your hard drive. If he is careful, you may not notice its presence, however, lunix is a capricious beast, and if handled incorrectly, your son may damage your computer, and even break it completely by deleting
Windows, at which point you will have to have your computer repaired by a Professional.
If you see the word "LILO" during your windows startup (just after you turn the machine on), your son has installed lunix. In order to get rid of it, you will have to send your computer back to the manufacturer, and have them fit a new hard drive.
Lunix is extremely dangerous software, and cannot be removed without destroying part of your hard disk surface.
It starts off ridiculous and ends up totally bizarre! The sad thing is, that they have tried to be as obvious about the parody as possible but i bet thousands of morons will actually believe this shit!

Did you notice that the title bar of this page reads "Cut me off at the knees and call me tripod" ?

http://213.139.76.69/ec/bigbro/M23/index.htm" target="_blank">here's what all those REAL "moral majority" types are getting up to
quote:
Big Brother will hide on your computer and secretly record all instant messages, chat, email, web sites and more! Once you install it, it becomes completely invisible. Then, after the computer is used, you just enter a secret key-sequence, and you can see everything that happened!
Big Brother Can Record:
AOL Instant Messenger
MSN Messenger
All web sites visited
All keystrokes typed
Web based email
Compuserve
AOL mail, version 5, 6 and 7
Big Brother will NOT show up anywhere in the START menu, there will be no icons for it, and it won't even show up in the CTRL-ALT-DELETE menu. Only you can access it with a special key sequence/password.

This arrived to me in a spam email at work under the laughable heading "Protect Your Children". Pathetic.

If your son has undergone a sudden change in his style of dress, you may have a hacker on your hands. Hackers tend to address in bright, day-glo colors. They may wear baggy pants, bright colored shirts and spiky hair dyed in bright colors to match their clothes. They may take to carrying "glow-sticks" and some wear pacifiers around their necks. (I have no idea why they do this) There are many such hackers in schools today, and your son may have started to associate with them. If you notice that your son's group of friends includes people dressed like this, it is time to think about a severe curfew, to protect him from dangerous influences.

HAHAHAHAAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!

Anayone ever seen that stupid movie "Hackers"? God that film was more inacurate than my grandma's ass. This was basically the description they were following.

I thought it would have been more interesting of a movie if they did just show a bunch of out of shape nerdy kids sitting around yammering about open ports, and proxies.
