I think Clinton and Bush BOTH suck!  (but Bush is far worse, I would rather have Clinton back in office anyday, give him all the women he wants, I dont care)

What's wrong with Clinton? I hope it's not all about his love affair...

Oh god no.  Clinton felt a need to make everyone happy, or else he wouldn't make a decision about anything.  Eventually, he had a hard time doing his job (or so it seemed).

Actually that is it.  That whole thing was a really stupid thing to do. However, they way he tried to explain that he did not really lie was... well, he was good at it and bush could never even come close to saying stuff that smart.  Bush would probably just stumble a lot.

So having sex and/or marital problems makes someone a bad president? I admit, I don't like the fact that he lied about it. However it wasn't anyones business and he shouldnt have been asked about it in the first place.

Here's another way to put it:
Amount Republicans gave commission to investigate Clinton's sex life: $65 Million.
Amount Republicans gave commission to investigate Columbia shuttle disaster: $50 Million.
Amount Republicans gave commission to investigate 9/11: 3 Million.

So it really is the whole story, then? The only reason Clinton is disliked is because of a stupid sex affair??? If Clinton was impeached for lying about such a trivial matter, then I wonder why Bush is still in office after having blatantly lied about the Iraq war. Also strange that the media hasn't picked up on the rape story, which should have caused a much greater scandal.

suprisingly, right wingers blame clinton for all kinds of wierd stuff.  I heard one guy who called in to the rush limbuagh show say that clinton screwed up the economy for eight years then bush came along and fixed it.  I thought it was the complete opposite?  Actually, Clinton had the economy going strong then stupid fucking bush came along and fucked it up.  Of course, republicans are saying that the economy started to go down hill right after bush came in to office because clinton left it that way.  I say that is BULL SHIT!

Yes, the military we invaded Afghanistan with was obviously maintained and built by the Clinton administration throughout the nineties.

Let's get something straight:
The recession actually started while Clinton was still in Office (March 2000). Clinton himself had nothing to do with it. He didn't have any change any policies since 1993 about the economy. It's natural for the economy to undergo ups and downs. And after 7 years of constant ups, it had nowhere to go but down for a while. HOwever when Bush came along, his policies only made it worse and slowed the recovery of the economy, partially allowing things to happen that made people lose trust in the system (Enron et al, 9/11, environment policies, and 2 wars, and friendliness toward huge greedy corporations.

NOt to mention how he led Congress to repeal almost every environmental law passed by Clinton.

Neither BUsh nor Clinton had anything to do with building up the military. Yes, the military that invaded Afganistan was maintained under CLinton and partially grew at the time. However he personally had nothing to do with people signing up.

I love this latest Bushism:

Anyone who actually beleives that Bush's tax cuts work is...  Bush uses tax cuts just to get people to like him.  He says tax cuts are good becuase it gives hard working americans more money to spend, and when the people spend, it strengthens the economy.  I say BULL SHIT! I think tax cuts are bad becuase then the government is poor.  Schools and libraries and stuff like that are not funded so well when the government does not have much money.  Sure, I understand how people are frustrated at how their tax dollars are being wasted, but cutting taxs will not fix the problem!  We need our tax dollars spent the right way.

Sometimes, the way to get government to spend less is to reduce its allowance.
Oh wait, that was Reagan  :D

If clinton is such a horrible president, then why was he re-elected in a land slide in 1996?  Its not like he has a good smile and actor qualities that regan used to get people to like him.
