Voidmain left back in the "great-forum-shit-slinging" of '02. It might have been 03. Who knows. The result, voidmain started his own forum free of trolls and bullshit. It's a wonderful place.

What happened to zombie9210 and windows/linuxuser? That was an amazing troll right there. windowsuser coming out as linuxuser, holy shit. I loved that.

Online games: 8 decks, reshuffled every hand
Live games: Unless otherwise advertised, 6 or 8 decks, or 4 decks installed in a continuous reshuffling device. DO NOT PLAY the continuously reshuffled game, it's a horrid value and horrid return on your money.

EDIT: Voidmain's little game sucks... not being able to double down or split is horseshit.

That might explain why I got three of same card after being dealt 10 cards.

Actually, I despise gambling, and think it's an idiotic thing to waste your money on.

Not to mention the fact that it's easy to cheat.

That, or the random number generator is shit. But I digress.

You despise what I make my living on? You heathen!

Actually, I can understand this one... there's only one game on Earth that can consistently have a positive expected value for the player, and it ain't blackjack.

Meh.

Anyway, I just hope you all realize that your persistent bitching and whining in an attempt to turn these forums into some harmonious utopia degrades it by a factor of ten.  Threads like this one, or entire blocks of deleted posts make the forum look more moronic than anything GNAA could write.  Good job.

Here is the line you draw: abuse, or speech.  Abuse, would be spam or flooding; speech would be anything else.  Got it?  In gray areas you utilize this fantastic feature called 'ignore;' with time, if a certain individual is truly a troll, others will do the same, and eventually the little attention-whore will get bored and leave, with a much less inflated ego.  Everyone wins.

I would class personal abuse as abuse, and that thread would've looked a lot more moronic if the ofending post(s) were left in place causing it to turn flamebait.

But deleting posts when someone has expressed thier opinion  (however tactless they were) is wrong, even if another member has started a flamebait because they're too imature to accept the other member's opinion.

I'm just glad that Mods are taking action.  I'd hate to see this place turn into another USENET, from under-moderation.
2 motherfuckers have sigged me so far.  Fuck yeah!

I just think we need the right balence, on one end of the spectrum we have forums where trolling and flamebait is accepted and at the other end there are places where people's opinions are being censored.

If someones expressing their opinion whether it be positive or negative it should be respected, but when they're needlessly insulting another member the post should be deleted.

Edit:
I realize now that the mods didn't have a problem with me expresing my opinion, or I don't think they did. I was in a bad mood and I was being very paranoid for some reason, sorry.

Oh and skyman8081, you still haven't given any evidence to back up your claims (read links to offending threads/posts) there's a word for this and I've a feeling you and I both know what that word is. ;)

didn't you know: you don't have to give reasons so long as you think you're right.

also, the bigger the red pen you have in your hand, the righter you are ;-)

Annorax was right to delete the posts in that case.

BobTheHob made an imature and uncalled for dig at muzzy in another thread, I feared that the thread would turn to shit so I reported BobTheHob's post and Annorax kindly removed it.

About the free speech rant
Someone posted a poorly written long arsed article in the news section and then got stressy when I expressed my opinion. I was in a bad mood so I thought that the mods were going to delete my post as well. I admit that I could've been more tactful but this site isn't the most tactful sites anyway.

Anyway not that you really give a shit I was just updating you on the daily Microsuck shit storm. Things have been improving for the last few hours but I'm forecasting another deluge so take your umbrella with you and mind you don't slip, have a good evening. :)
