« on: 22 May 2005, 02:13 »
well as you all know there has been a great impact of spam and how it effects the world, as well as M$'s so called crackdown on spammers which is nothing more then eliminating competitor's in what they are trying to control... here is more proof of this HERE
(note that this is a very long read but its worth it

also you may have read about A0L cracking down on spammers also, lol you may ask why did they do such a thing anwser is they wanted to get rid of them so they can introduce their new service for the small buiness world
you can read more on this HERE

Well I couldn't be arsed to read this long arsed article in full but from what I've read this lacks any real proof. I doubt this is true as this article is so poorly written.

I never doubted it. They have the best ressources. They have the least moral constraints.

ripo, you are welcome here but this is only your second post and you're already flaming, do you want to get on with the people here or do you just want to piss everyone off?

To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if MS are spamming, as it's about their level.

The reason you've go so few replies is because the article is poorly written and so fucking long. I'm dyslexic (I have a problem with reading and writing) and I simply haven't got the time to waste reading long boring drawn out articles like this.

By the way I'll forgive you if English is not your first language but your post isn't that well written either. ;)

:nothappy: using grammar is a sign of what? being intelligent or then again is it my fault you try to be intelligent by using spell check... how cute you make replies to shit you haven't even read and start criticizing, either way people like me make forums what they are. tell me what a post count has to anything to do with "flaming" you posted a remark which shouldnt have even been made if you havent read the article itself... nice way of getting a higher post count  loser
if you havent got the time to read the boring drawn out article as you so put it then dont make a remark, it only makes you look more stupid then you already are:) im not looking for replys nor and i looking for friends on a forum unlike you, and i didnt write the article its not really even a article

My vote's for sanitizing it by deleting this post and all traces of the flaming and trying to return the thread to its original purpose.

Or binning, your choice.

If English isn't your language then fair enough but good grammar is a sign that you've thought about a post properly.

What do you expect?
I scanned the article but it's so darn long and poorly written and as a result it lacks credibility.

Good then you won't be dissapointed to find you don't have any.

EDIT:
Sorry I did go a bit far there, but why do you post on a forum it you're not looking for friends or replys?

and i didnt write the article its not really even a article

Why are you going off on one?

EDIT:
You're being very hypocritical here, you've acussed me of starting the flamebate even though I was just expressing my opinion (I admit I could've being a bit more tactful but that's not the point) yet you retaliate by flaming even more.

Maybe I shouldn't have comented on how shit the article is but ripo's blown this up out of all proportion. Yes delete half the posts if you want but this would be agianst the intrests of free speach on this forum. I wasn't insulting anyone but giving my opinion on the quality of the article. I wasn't the first person to flame. Read this tread from the beggining and you'll see what I mean.

Deleting posts that are personal attacks is fair enough but stopping people from expressing their opinions is plain wrong.

Edit: Yes I agree clean this thread up, I'll repost my opinion on the article and I'll also rephrase it.

The article is indeed rather poorly written. But that does not reduce the quality of the information content, although it might taint the credibility.

@ topic: Anyone have any reasonable arguments for microsoft?

tell you what, since none of us is allowed to discuss anything, even if it's something that we were put in mind of by the article, why not just lock this thread right now and save us all some time and effort?

Acting like Ripo did would have resulted in an instant ban on the forum I'm modding at. You don't call people you don't know retards and insulting them like that is very bad. But I guess It's always easier to throw crap at people when you're sitting on a forum than when you meet the person IRL.
