Litestep config

I am trying Litestep for Windows now, and it works smoothly. But I am unhappy with the taskbar :mad:
It's way too much crap, and too few lines for program-windows. So if any of you have the slightest clue on how to make it 3-4 lines high - please help

And you can configure that shit quite a bit. I'm not using Litestep, but it's pretty easy to edit when you use Vim.

i tried litestep years ago. it was so crap i switched back to explorer within fifteen minutes. as i recall it was dire.

of course i switched away from windows millenium edition less than a month later (to red hat 7.0) but that's another story.

yeah I tried litestep too and hated it. It actually made explorer look good.

Of course that was a long time ago. has it improved?

On this note, I think there are other better shell replacements for windows nowadays.

The Litestep version that I tried months ago locked my comp when starting up. I would recommend a Blackbox (BB) modification instead, for ex BBLean.

I just tried Astonshell and it's very nice. If I used Windows primarily I might consider buying it.

if microsoft had half a brain...they would sponser things like litestep, but alas, they won't.

If there was something similar to Fluxbox or WindowMaker available for Windows, I would try it straight away!

Yes, I used Litestep, but it was far too slow for my liking, right now I use Program Manager (progman.exe) as my shell and it runs very, very fast.
