Well, I know that u get a direct shot of viri on your pc if windows xp isn't patched. So I decided to directly upgrade every part there is of my version. Everything went ok, but then I started to play games. If anyone is familiar with the I/O and IRQ conflicts between BIOS and Windows XP SP2, you know what I mean, for the others a short explaination: I start to play any game, yes even the old dos games, which should run normally on my pc, I even start up graphical editors, like flash mx, and after 20 minutes my pc crashes... due to an conflict of hardware access between windows xp SP2 and bios. However that conflict only started when I installed my upgraded version of windows xp! I wanted to downgrade it back, but I only could throw SP2 away. I wanted to put a older verion on windows xp, bat I can't, because the "I lose all files and configs", yeah sure... So what this means is, is that microsoft didn't care about the hardware conflicts and repatched it so it could go nicely with the older bios I have. No instead they force me now to flash it with a newer version of 29.00$ which I ain't gonna do due to the *make an error and bye mainboard* warning.
Anyway, yes, windows XP upgraded is fucked up too
